If you are looking for the most durable finish, we highly recommend choosing Black Nitride as your coating option! *All black slides shown have a DLC finish, but we would recommend Nitride as it shares similar properties.
Cerakote and Black Nitride will coat the entire slide. (Black Nitride options will add 2-3 weeks lead time. Cerakote will add 4-5 days lead time)
If you have a special request for Cerakote colors, we will do our best to accommodate your request. There may be an increased cost or lead time for special requests.
DISCLAIMER If NONE is selected for coating option, the slide will be returned in raw-machined, uncoated condition and could potentially have rust or corrosion develop. MDT is not responsible for bare metal slides after leaving our facility and we HIGHLY recommend having the slide coated.
We do not charge for assembly/disassembly of the slide. We will torque all screws to recommended specifications and roughly zero your optic with the iron sights. We will also install/remove any provided parts and upgrades.
If any of the parts are not compatible, they will not be installed and returned to you with the slide.
We HIGHLY recommend sending all parts you plan to have installed on your slide. This ensures proper fitment and alignment with your optic.
DISCLAIMER MDT will not be responsible for slight misalignments or gaps with optics if the optic was not sent with the slide. Due to tolerance variances in the machining process and between each optic unit, there can be slight gaps or fitment issues when installing the optic. If the optic is sent with the slide we will fit them to your slide ensuring a flush fitment.
